New Members, New Beginnings

Embracing Philanthropy in Our Brotherhood

In the Spring of 2023, our Fraternity successfully welcomed 26 new brothers, significantly enriching our community. The Fall Rush focused on upperclassman recruitment, adding 4 more valuable members to our group.

Looking ahead to Spring 2024, we aim to expand our brotherhood further by recruiting an additional 30 members. This growth not only reflects our vibrant fraternity culture but also our commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

With this influx of membership, our Fraternity has seen a bustling social calendar. We hosted 6 engaging tailgate events that offered brothers and guests an opportunity to bond and enjoy the spirit of camaraderie. A highlight of our social activities was Parents Weekend, which received enthusiastic participation. The event provided an excellent opportunity for parents to connect with our new members, fostering a sense of community and belonging, while providing an opportunity to raise money for our philanthropic endeavors.

Our commitment to making a positive impact in the community continues to be a priority. We’ve established a meaningful partnership with the Egypt Refugee Organization, through which we have raised $800, demonstrating our dedication to global humanitarian efforts.

Additionally, we’ve instituted a weekly philosophical event that encourages brothers to engage in volunteer work. This initiative not only aids those in need but also cultivates a sense of responsibility and ethical awareness among our members.

We have worked harmoniously with the headquarter’s staff to improve our internal operational practices to continue fortifying our foundation. The Colony recently held elections since expanding to our current number, and our new officers are greatly anticipating the opportunity to mold our young organization’s identity.
